Good evening everyone! Attached is the FINAL Prediction for Friday, January 17, 2025.

There have been some questions regarding the possibility of delays tomorrow. This is stemming from the light snowfall (around 0.5 inches) that the area received this afternoon. Road conditions for most are currently wet, but there have been reports of back roads having some icy spots.

Looking at the latest data, PennDOT actively has plows (see the Track My Plow feature) running on the secondary roads. While an isolated flurry cannot be ruled out, snow should be concluded for most. Historically, half an inch of snow typically does not cause delays the following, particularly when timed earlier in the afternoon.

Considering all of this, I do think Regular Days are the most likely outcome. However, and we are seeing some signs of this, I would now be surprised to see some isolated Delays depending on local conditions (Pocono Mountain comes to mind, but any other district can act independently, such as only East Stroudsburg canceling activities today). Hence the FINAL Prediction odds below.
