Snow is expected to arrive in the region late-Wednesday morning. A few inches of snow is anticipated at first, then it will gradually convert to freezing rain and rain by Wednesday evening. Due to the timing of the snowfall; I anticipate schools throughout the region to react: the question at play is when does the snow arrive. Generally speaking, if the snow arrives around or after 10 AM, this is usually enough time for schools to squeeze in early dismissals. If, however, snow arrives before 10 AM, then schools are typically forced to close or go virtual.
