Good evening everyone! Attached is the FINAL Prediction for Wednesday, March 9, 2022.
Not much has changed since the First Prediction. The only new news is the snowfall expectations have lowered slightly to 1 to 4 inches (from 2 to 5 earlier today). However, confidence is strong for a 7/8 AM start time; because of this, I still believe school districts will likely not have enough time to squeeze in early dismissals. Therefore, I continue to favor the closing scenario. Temperatures are still going to be marginally around freezing, even above freezing in some locations, so the early dismissal odds still have a strong presence. But, the 7/8 AM snow start time is hard to work with.
Some school districts in the region have already announced virtual days and closings for tomorrow, so keep an eye out for local school alerts now through tomorrow morning. Have a great evening everyone and thank you for the support!
