Good evening everyone! Attached is the FINAL Prediction for November 19, 2019.
There has been the possibility for accumulating snow for tonight over the last few days. However, expectations have been dampened. The National Weather Service is projecting up to half an inch of snowfall for the higher elevations in Monroe County from late tonight into the pre-dawn hours tomorrow morning. With that said, I think their forecast is too high given that model guidance is not eager over the snow potential. In addition, air temperatures will be at or above freezing, limiting the impact of any accumulations. This is why I am favoring a Regular Day for tomorrow; I just do not think there is enough arguments for the delay scenario.
Our next snow potential would not be until a week from now, assuming the stars align, so we have some downtime before we have to start worrying about winter weather again. Thank you everyone for the support – it is appreciated. Have a great rest of your evening!
