FINAL Prediction for Friday, April 5, 2019

Good evening everyone. Attached is the FINAL Prediction for Friday, April 5, 2019. And no, this is not an April Fools joke.

A coating of snow and a few hundredths of an inch of ice is anticipated between 9 AM and 12 PM tomorrow. However, these accumulations will be limited to the higher elevations. Air and ground temperatures will be above freezing for the most part; this, plus a high sun angle, will likely prevent any road impacts. In addition, the timing is not favorable for either the delay or early dismissal scenario, since both would have buses on the road during the event — it may be better to ride out. Based on all of these arguments, I do favor a Regular Day scenario, but I would not be surprised if some higher-elevated districts react as a precaution.

I will be on the lookout for updates in the morning. Have a great evening everyone and thank you for the support!
