Good evening everyone. I hope your weekend went well. Attached is the First Prediction for January 31, 2017.
Light snow is expected to occur during the daytime hours on Tuesday. The National Weather Service is expecting 1-3 inches of snow from the morning hours until the late-afternoon.
The big question mark that needs to be answered is the start time. There is a legitimate possibility the snow could start soon enough (9 AM or earlier) that would put closings at a higher chance of occurring than early dismissals. The start time will depend on the arrival of snow indicated by short-range models and the “in effect” period for any future advisory.
