Happy Tuesday everyone! We have a sneaky snow event on tap that is poised to cause some impacts in the region tomorrow. Therefore, the prediction for Wednesday, December 10, 2025 has been issued.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory, in effect from 6 AM Wednesday until 6 PM Wednesday. They are anticipating 2 to 4 inches of snow and a glaze of ice. I have seen model guidance possibly suggest a later start time, with temperatures rising above freezing for most by the afternoon, but the National Weather Service tends to do a good job pinpointing start/stop times. Also, considering the impacts are all day in nature and are material enough to cause reactions from school districts, I do think closings have the stronger argument.
