Good evening everyone and Happy Thursday, a.k.a. Friday Eve! Attached is the FINAL Prediction for Friday, February 7, 2025.

I suspect this will come as a surprise for many, but looking at the latest observations and weather data, I had to change course. Based on observations (thanks everyone!), the majority of road conditions appear just went. There are some reports of icy/slushy conditions on secondary roads, but not necessarily widespread. Also, when looking at the latest temperature forecast, it looks like temperatures will actually remain above freezing for longer and will not go below freezing until dawn. In fact, in some areas, temperatures could reach the mid to upper 30s. This drastically weakens the argument for delays, although I still think they have a chance of occuring. However, I need to predict based on observations and the forecast and the data supports a Regular Day tomorrow. If temperatures went below freezing now and through the rest of the night, Delays would be more likely, but that doesn’t appear to be the case.
