Good morning everyone and Happy Friday! Attached is the FINAL Prediction for Friday, December 20, 2024.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 10 AM Friday until 7 AM Saturday. They are expecting 1 to 3 inches of snowfall throughout the county, with the highest totals near the Mt. Pocono area. Pleasant Valley and East Stroudsburg have scheduled half-days today due to the upcoming winter break (thanks everyone for letting me know!); as far as I am aware, Pocono Mountain and Stroudsburg still have a normal schedule for today.

Considering the earlier in the day start time of 10 AM, this drastically increases the chances of early dismissals. No Activities only is still possible if snowfall doesn’t materialize until later and I could still foresee a 10% chance of a Regualr Day if snowfall doesn’t occur at all due to dry air, but I think this is unlikely.
