FINAL Prediction for Friday, March 10, 2023

Good morning everyone and Happy Friday! Attached is the FINAL Prediction for today, March 10, 2023.
The Winter Weather Advisory has been upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning, with the in effect time remaining from 1 PM Friday until 10 AM Saturday. The National Weather Service now expects 6 to 8 inches of snowfall. I still have some hesitation about temperatures being above freezing initially, but I expect temperatures to fall as the precipitation occurs. Additionally, the radar is showing snow already approaching the area, but this is likely not reaching the ground yet due to dry air (also known as virga). Lastly, higher snow totals will also push the argument for early dismissals. At this point, I think Regular Days are not a realistic outcome (in my opinion) and Early Dismissals are a likely possibility.
Keep your eyes out for school alerts throughout the day. Have a great day everyone, be safe, and thank you for the support!
