School reactions were generally mixed through out the region. In Monroe County specifically, East Stroudsburg and Pocono Mountain early dismissed while Pleasant Valley and Stroudsburg kept with a Regular Day schedule; this was driven predominately by temperatures being below and above freezing, respectfully. Right now the higher elevated areas are hovering around or just below freezing while lower elevated areas remain above freezing. Temperatures are expected to rise a few degrees overnight, then rise rapidly around sunrise tomorrow. Lower elevated districts are likely to experience Regular Days tomorrow while upper elevated districts have the best chance for delays tomorrow.
