Good evening everyone! Attached is the FINAL Prediction for Thursday, January 26, 2023.
The Winter Weather Advisory, which was suppose to be in effect until 10 PM, has been canceled as temperatures rise above freezing. Temperatures overnight are expected to rise to almost 40*F and remain elevated going into the morning hours. The region on average received between 2 to 3 inches of snowfall. While some roadways do contain slush, the majority of roadways, especially the primary ones, appear to be just wet. Rising temperatures in addition the rain expected over the next few hours, should continue to help improve road conditions. Therefore, while I can see some isolated districts delaying, I suspect most districts are likely to go in on time tomorrow.
