Hello everyone! Attached is the FINAL Prediction for Wednesday, January 25, 2023.
Not much has changed in the forecast for tomorrow; snow is still expected throughout most of the day, eventually converting to rain late this evening. Since 3 to 5 inches of snowfall is anticipated all day, I did raise the closing odds to 70%. I wanted to go higher, but some model guidance is showing a dry slot that could develop from 10 AM until 1 PM, which in theory buses could use to squeeze in the day. But I do not personally think this is likely due to the timing of the advisory starting at 7 AM and with an initial round of snow expected around 8/9 AM; this should be enough for schools to go towards the closing/virtual option.
