Good afternoon everyone! Happy New Year and Happy Sunday! I hope your weekend is going well.

Model guidance and forecasts are locking in on 0.75 to 1 inch of snowfall tomorrow morning. Usually, this would not be a big deal from a school’s perspective, but the issue is the timing. The snow is expected to fall between 2 AM and 6 AM, which is right in the middle of the regular morning bus runs. There has been a handful of times in the past where one inch of snowfall timed perfectly can cause delays and I believe tomorrow morning may pan out similarly. Since this snow will be short-lived, I do not anticipate issues with a delayed bus run schedule; therefore, I do lean towards the delay scenario for tomorrow.

If schools do delay tomorrow, I would anticipate them to make the call in the morning hours. Have a great rest of your weekend and as always thank you for the support!
