First Prediction for Thursday, December 15, 2022

Good evening everyone! Even though we just had school delays this morning, Winter has more in store for us. Attached is the First Prediction for Thursday, December 15, 2022.

Model guidance is honing in on wintery weather for our area, beginning Thursday afternoon sometime between 12 PM and 4 PM. It is likely to be a snow to ice to rain event. Accumulations still have to be ironed out; however, guidance is suggesting at least 3 inches of snowfall can be expected through at least late Thursday night. Given these current expectations, I do favor the early dismissal scenario for Thursday. If snow arrives later than expected, then I could see no activities as a secondary outcome.

Thanks everyone for the support as it is appreciated. I plan on issuing the Second Prediction for Thursday and the First Prediction for Friday tomorrow evening. Have a great rest of your day!
