Second Prediction for Monday, December 12, 2022

Good morning everyone and Happy Sunday! Attached is the Second Prediction for Monday, December 12, 2022.

Snow is beginning to fall in the area and is starting to stick to surfaces. Snowfall should become more steady as we progress to the afternoon hours today, then will taper off this evening. One thing that has changed is we are now under a Winter Weather Advisory until 7 AM Monday. Based on all model guidance that I am seeing, snow should still conclude this evening, but I wouldn’t rule out another snow shower or two overnight. Considering the Winter Weather Advisory end time, I did increase the closing/virtual days odds, but I am still favoring the delay scenario.

The Final Prediction will be issued later this afternoon/early evening. I would not be surprised if we see schools make delay announcements tonight. Have a great rest of your evening and thank you for the support!
