First Prediction for Monday, December 12, 2022

Good evening everyone! I hope you are having a great weekend. Attached is the First Prediction for Monday, December 12, 2022.

2 to 5 inches of snowfall is expected from 7 AM Sunday until 7 PM Sunday. Temperatures are expected to be just below freezing throughout the county and will likely drop further below freezing during the overnight hours Sunday night. There are two factors into why I think delays are likely on Monday. First, as temperatures fall further below freezing Sunday night into Monday morning, any slush spots will likely freeze up, creating black ice. The other consideration is schools will need time to clean up their buildings and buses. Add these two factors together and I think delays become a real possibility for Monday.

I plan on issuing the Second Prediction tomorrow morning. Have a great rest of your evening and thank you for the support!
