FINAL Prediction for Thursday, March 10, 2022

Good evening everyone and Happy Wednesday! Attached is the FINAL Prediction for Thursday, March 10, 2022.

Snow has concluded throughout our area. Lower elevated areas received an inch or two of snowfall and road conditions for the most part are wet. However, higher elevated areas received two to four inches of snowfall, with the highest elevations receiving as much as six inches. These elevated areas are also experiencing poor secondary road conditions. Given temperatures are expected to fall and remain below freezing tonight, I think the formation of black ice is high. Also, schools will need some time to clean off and prepare school buildings and buses. Therefore, I do favor the delay scenario, especially for higher elevated districts.

Some neighboring districts in the region have already announced delays for tomorrow, so be on the lookout for school alerts tonight through tomorrow morning. Be safe everyone and thank you for the support!
