Final Prediction for November 15, 2021

Good evening everyone! I hope your weekend went well as we look forward to the week ahead. Attached is the Final Prediction for Monday, November 15, 2021 – yes, the first prediction of the 2021-22 Winter Season is here!

Light snow is expected to enter the region starting around 8 PM tonight and should exit around 1 AM tomorrow morning. Most of the snowfall will be concentrated in the higher elevations (above 1,000 feet) and accumulations should range from a coating to an inch. With that said, ground temperatures will be above freezing and air temperatures will be around freezing; therefore, accumulations are going to be focused predominately on non-paved surfaces. Given the light snowfall expected, I think a Regular Day is the most likely outcome (80%), but isolated delays cannot be ruled out (20%).

The Premium Site is picking up on the delay odds for the region. I highly recommend becoming a Premium member as you get access to predictions up to four days in advance across 12 counties in NEPA. It is one of the best ways to support the service and the support is appreciated. Have a great day everyone and thank you for the support!
