Good evening everyone! Attached is the FINAL Prediction for Pocono Mountain School District for February 18, 2019. All other schools are closed due to President’s Day.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 9 PM Sunday until 10 AM Monday; around two inches of snow and perhaps a few hundredths of an inch of ice is expected during this time period. With snow and the advisory lasting into the last-morning hours, I have a feeling roads will not improve enough for the delayed bus runs. I suspect PennDOT is not going to be aggressive with clearing the roads, hence my favoritism towards the closing scenario. I think the district will wait until the morning hours before deciding, perhaps a delay followed by a closing.
