A Winter Storm Warning is now in effect for our area until 11 AM Wednesday. The National Weather Service expects 5 to 7 inches snow tonight; snowfall rates can be heavy at times.

Given the increase in snowfall estimates and the extended duration of the event, the closing odds for Wednesday have increased. I am concerned there will not be enough time for roads to improve in order to run the morning buses, especially considering significant accumulations are expected up until dawn (7 AM) per model guidance.
