Good evening everyone! Attached is the First Prediction for Friday, January 6, 2017. Light snow is anticipated from just after midnight Thursday night and is expected to last into early Friday morning. Snow forecasts vary by model outputs and meteorologists, so I am going with 1 to 1.5″ of snow for now. Isolated cases of 2″ are possible.
Given the timing and the snow amounts for this event, I like the idea of school delays occurring Friday morning. However, we need to see what scenarios the models go towards over the next day; dry conditions and a Regular Day are on the table.
