Good morning everyone. As of 6 AM, all Monroe County School Districts appear to be going in on time. This is because warm ground temperatures are melting anything that falls. Air temperatures are not conducive for icing on paved surfaces.
Further north and east of here, Pike and Wayne counties schools are delayed. Quite frankly, this does not surprise me since they were prone to more snow and ice than us. In fact, keep an eye on them, since the current precipitation could actually cool air temperatures. It will be interesting to see if they will stick with a delay or potentially close (doubtful, but it is possible).
Thanks again for the support; have a good day!
